We didn’t stop moving because we got old—
We got old because we stopped moving.
Here’s what I mean 👇👇
When you were a kid, you ran and you climbed and did some things you might think are silly now. But when was the last time you ran? Or swam? Or lifted something heavier than the groceries?
I’m sure there’s a study done, but I don’t have it: the principle is simple. We can assume, barring major medical conditions, people in their 30’s, 40’s, 50’s are stronger and have more durable bone structure than someone who’s 8. Why don’t we act (AND MOVE) like it?
That wasn’t youth — that was movement.
You’re not getting old — you’re getting untrained.
You didn’t “lose it” — you stopped using it.
Go move. Go play. Go become the resilient individual your body is meant to be. That’s how you keep your body young.
