The special meeting of the Monroe County Board of Commissioners scheduled for Monday, Aug. 11, is CANCELLED. The meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 26, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Monroe County Courthouse.

The meeting was to present information about a pending lease of the Oak Hill senior living and rehabilitation center in Waterloo. Unfortunately, Monroe County State’s Attorney Ryan Webb, who was to give an informational presentation about the lease, will not be able to attend due to a medical emergency in his family.

"We will not be making any further comment with respect to those private matters and ask that you keep the family in your prayers," county officials stated in a Monday morning press release.
