Waterloo Hometown Pharmacy

Hometown Pharmacy opened in Waterloo in October 2018. They offer many services including vaccinations, medication packaging, and prescription delivery. They also carry a large selection of unique gifts and decor. The staff can't wait to see you in the pharmacy!

Adelaide Hartgarten grew up on a small family farm in Clinton, WI. While in high school, she was hired as a pharmacy technician at the Shopko Pharmacy in Beloit, WI. Adelaide worked at the Beloit location during high school and while she was studying pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin Madison. After graduation in 2011, she was hired as a pharmacist at Shopko in Beloit but transferred to the Fort Atkinson Shopko in 2012. In July of 2018, Adelaide was given the opportunity to partner with Hometown Pharmacy to open a location in Waterloo, WI. She was very excited to start this new adventure and get back to the small-town roots that she loves. Adelaide enjoys practicing pharmacy in a small town because it lets her get to know her patients very well. She would like to be considered both a friend and a pharmacist to patients in the community.
