Meet the Candidates!
VGM was honored to kick off our "Meet the Candidates" series with Iowa State Representative Josh Turek, who is running for the open U.S. Senate seat following Senator Joni Ernst’s retirement.

Rep. Turek has been a driving force in the Iowa House, championing CRT Right to Repair legislation—a critical step toward ensuring access and affordability in complex rehab technology.

As a wheelchair user, Rep. Turek brings a deeply personal perspective to the importance of accessible, high-quality DMEPOS (Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies). His advocacy reflects a commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities through better policy and support.

VGM Group has submitted our comments on the CY26 CMS DMEPOS/Home Health Proposed Rule and encourages you to do the same (if you haven’t done so already)! The proposed return of the Competitive Bidding Program and other proposed changes outlined by CMS pose serious risks to the DMEPOS industry and the patients they serve.

Remember:

Address the issues that matter most to your business; youu don’t have to address every provision. Share how specific proposals affect your business, your employees, your patients, and the services you provide. And be factual and avoid PHI.

The deadline for comments is 11:59 p.m. ET, tonight! Read more about the Proposed Rule and how you can make your voice heard in our blog linked below.
