💚 SURVIVING THE HOLIDAYS 💚
1 week until Thanksgiving! Life moves fast — and the holidays only turn up the volume. Between travel plans, family gatherings, financial stress, and the push to “make it special,” it’s easy to overlook how much we might be carrying emotionally.
Take a few moments to slow down, listen, and check in. Ask how people are really doing — not just how the shopping or cooking is going. A simple conversation, a coffee together, or even a phone call can make a world of difference. Here are our tips to survive the holidays:
1. Set clear boundaries and don't be afraid to say "No"
2. Be flexible with our expectations and realize there is no such thing as a Pinterest perfect Christmas
3. Focus on your people and spending time with them without feeling like you have to cater to make everyone else happy.
4. Remember to be thankful for the people around you and count your blessings. Focusing on positives makes the negatives disappear.
