Mallory was looking for fun - which is Mac's absolute favorite! Mallory started off by picking the Hancock frame by in the Antique Leaves color. Acetate aviators of the '70s were the go-to choice for music, film, and pop culture icons of that era! Mallory was also looking for a lens color that was on the brighter green side, so Mac did some research and they settled for a polarized lens with a Shamrock green mirror coat for that extra pop of color! Look how great these turned out!

Where was Dr. Ah-Kine?
Dr. Ah-Kine just got back from spending a week in San Miguel, El Salvador, providing eye care as part of the eye campaign in collaboration with ASAPROSAR, a Salvadoran non-profit organization that has been promoting human development with a focus on health as a fundamental right. This was Dr. Ah-Kine's 17th trip, and in addition to providing care to those who can't afford or access it, they also collaborated with local optometrists to share skills and knowledge. This allows for the short term impacts of connecting patients with care and medical devices (donated glasses) or treatments, and the longer term impacts being augmenting the local knowledge base and improving the care that is being able to be provided by locals, for locals. Izzy also comes in and only wants fun glasses. They once described us as the place to get , and we don't see where the lie is, TBH. Here they are in a rad frame by called Outline Andreas in white, combined with a polycarbonate lens with a blue light blocking anti reflective coating.

Even littles need to get their eyes checked! 4 year old A came in for an eye exam by Dr. Ah-Kine all the way from Hadley because of a risk factor that would affect his visual development. Turns out he doesn't need glasses (and his eye alignment, color vision, and depth perception were all excellent), but he wasn't shy about trying some on! 🤓 Remember to bring your kids in for their comprehensive eye exams!
