April 9 – May 18, 2026

Mars has entered Aries, the sign it rules, and for the next six weeks the collective energy shifts toward movement, courage, and initiative. When Mars travels through its own sign, motivation rises and the instinct to push forward becomes stronger. This is a cycle that encourages action rather than hesitation.

Early in this transit, Mars meets Neptune in Aries around April 12, blending drive with imagination. Neptune governs dreams, intuition, and ideals, and when Mars connects with it we may feel compelled to pursue visions that previously felt unrealistic or distant. Inspiration can become the fuel for action.

We also still have Mercury in Pisces until April 14, which keeps the mind open, imaginative, and reflective for a few more days. This is a window to picture what could be possible instead of focusing on the fears that say it cannot be done.

The thoughts that ask what if they reject me, what if it fails, or what if I am not capable often become the barriers that stop progress before it even begins.

As Mars continues through Aries, it will also come into contact with Saturn around April 21. Saturn brings gravity and structure to whatever it touches. While Mars provides the courage to move, Saturn reminds us that determination must be grounded in discipline and commitment. Together they emphasize self determination, the willingness to build something real through consistent effort.

Bravery is not bravado.

Strength is not brute force.

Power is not domination.

Bravery is moving forward even when uncertainty is present.

Strength is remaining aligned with your values when pressure tries to bend them.

Power is staying steady in the middle of confusion and refusing to lose your center.

Mars in Aries is the ignition point. Use this energy to take the next step, however small it may be. Once movement begins, momentum tends to follow and progress builds one action at a time.

Today’s current feels like movement away from emotional turbulence and toward healing waters.

Six of Swords shows the crossing. This is the card of transition. Something mentally or emotionally heavy has been processing for a while, and the collective energy today suggests people are finally choosing peace over chaos. It may not be perfect yet, but the direction is changing. Conversations, realizations, or quiet decisions help someone move out of conflict or mental noise.

Then we arrive at the King of Cups. This is emotional maturity. Instead of reacting impulsively, there is a call to respond with composure, compassion, and emotional intelligence. Someone may step into the role of mediator, healer, or steady emotional anchor. This can also represent a moment where you realize you are no longer drowning in the feeling,
you are holding it calmly.

And then we land on The Star, which is one of the most hopeful cards in the deck. After turmoil, the Star restores faith. It is the quiet realization that healing is happening, even if it is subtle. Inspiration returns. Hope returns. Trust in the path begins to rebuild.
