Swaddling might be the norm… but let’s question it for a second 👇

“Babies need it to sleep.”
“It’s the only way to stop the startle reflex.”

But here’s what often gets left out—

Your baby’s brain is developing faster right now than it ever will again. And what fuels that growth?
✨ Movement
✨ Sensory input
✨ Touch + pressure

Every reach, kick, stretch, and wiggle is building neural pathways and strengthening brain-body connection.

When movement is restricted, that input is too.

🚫 Arms pinned = less reaching, grasping, self-soothing
🚫 Legs straight = limited hip movement + reduced feedback to the brain

Orthotics ✔️
Better shoes 👟
Stretching 🧘‍♀️
