The newest food pyramid shows what to eat most often and what to eat less of, using an upside-down pyramid.

🟢 BIG TOP = Eat the MOST (Every Day Foods)
These foods help kids grow, play, learn, and stay strong:
• Proteins 💪
Chicken, eggs, fish, beans, nuts
→ Helps build muscles and strength
• Fruits 🍎 & Vegetables 🥕
Many colors like red, green, orange
→ Helps keep the body healthy and strong
• Dairy 🥛
Milk, yogurt, cheese
→ Builds strong bones and teeth
• Healthy Fats 🥑
Avocado, nuts, seeds
→ Helps the brain work well
