I’ve been trying to figure out what is the opposite saying for “if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all”

whenever I feel the upwelling of love, admiration, appreciation for somebody in my life over something small or large, and I reveal that- the impact is beautiful.

The gift of uncovering that people have influenced me, that I have been listening.

What if you didn’t hold back the truth of love and appreciation when you have it to give?

There is something quite deep
about building a relationship
over time with a non human being,
that embodies a totally different kind of wisdom
than I could ever have.

This tree has been a great friend to me over
the last 8 years or so.
I am aware that we won’t get to spend
our whole life time together
so lately, I have been RE-MEMBERING
To spend time in contact, movement,
conversation, to feel into what’s there.
Imagine spending your whole life in one spot.
Life around you moving spots and locations.
Staying steady amongst all of that.

This friend has witnessed my joy
My voice
My wildness
Steadily listening.

May you befriend the trees around you.

What is the quality of energy within the way that you touch to yourself? Is it loving? Is it hateful? Is it judgmental? Is it neutral?
Wherever you are on the spectrum. There is room for more love. More kindness. More tolerance. For me-I had to start with neutrality. And sometimes I still need to come back to that. There were parts of me that I had distain for. That I had to practice just allowing to exist exactly as it is. Over time, as I have made it a practice to touch myself on purpose-more and more has become possible.
How you Touch yourself matters. Your body is always listening. For me, and for so many of the clients that I’ve worked with-we have discovered together that overtime deep tender parts of the self will speak, when a welcoming space exists.

My longing to be intimate with life
woke up stronger today.
Because I recently remembered,
that the sky is all around us.
That we are on a planet hurling through space.

That the form that I am now will die.
Yet for now, while I am alive in THIS way-
The spec of dust that I am,
Is for some reason colliding, with
Other particular specs.
People, plants, breath.

For me, I want to be in the dance,
of wonder that swirls around in my mind,
And connection with the present sounds
Touch, light &dark.

To feel the questions inside,
And listen for the answers
From the moment itself.

When a place or a person is familiar to me,
there are times. I forget that they will one day be gone.

When I check out from the moment, I am missing the sun that is still shining,
The precious moments where I can still touch my mother’s warm flesh.

The reminder of impermanence is a wake up to BE
in the moment before it is gone.

Be in the relationship, before it is no longer possible.
SAVOR, all the little things that feel regular, familiar and precious, that will one day die, not be “yours”

not just the precious though. That ache in your heart or something happening, don’t leave. Stay, come back. Be in the truth of the present.

It’s so easy in our current world to pop out. To leave. To stay distracted. It’s so much of what is making our world sick. The lack of contact, listening, being.

Come back.

If you have been more in touch with self hate,
self rejection,
and so on…making the switch,
intending to find your way into self LOVE,
Is quite the hero’s journey.

Tolerance is the foundation.
Tolerance is what makes
Your inner world, go from a warzone,
To a place where parts
Can reveal themselves,
To be known.

Tolerance is the doorway to
CURIOSITY.
To allowing,
To accepting,
To welcoming,
To celebrating,
To embracing.

Tolerance is the least we can do.
The minimum.
The place to begin.
Tolerance is better than exile,
denial,
Dissociation.

Tolerance is a muscle you can build.
Tolerance is what helps us stay,
and helps us come back, if we have left.

Tolerance is opening the door,
even if you don’t like what you see,
and letting it come in anyway.
Come in to be acknowledged.

I have always dreamed
that one day I would love the name of my business.
I tried on different things over the years
and nothing seemed to fit quite right.
Of course, like most things in my life,
when I stopped trying to make it happen,
something arose.

One day I asked myself,
why do I do any of the things that I do?
What is my purpose in my work?
What is my compass
to help guide me to my true yes’ and no’s?

I want to help people love their bodies,
To be kind to themselves,
To Feel themselves
As their beloved
For this life.

So it seems perfectly fitting,
That my work has become
Beloved BodyworkK

Wholeness,
Is when all parts of ourself
Are
To be allowed to exist,
Our holes
And our holiness-
Get to have a seat
In the heart of who
“We are”
This is something
That can be cultivated
Self love-
Is a spectrum
From tolerance
To allowing
To accepting
To welcoming
To embracing
To celebrating.
To be sincere about it
Is deeply important.
Tolerance, is better than exile.

This is the “scale” I use
To check myself
To make sure
I am in the fertile ground
Of wholeness

Nature is always showing us.
About love, space, generosity.

We are born with this flesh blood and bones.

Life and culture seems to hack away
at the clarity of our vision.
To know what beauty is.
To know what enoughness is.

Filters upon filters set up camp in our minds.
About what we can and can’t ask.
Putting love, out of reach, dangling like a carrot
All the secret rules.

“If I ______”
Then I am enough.
Then I can embrace myself.
But not yet….

So perhaps,
If you watch the way,
That ocean embraces a continent,
That space welcomes the sun ,

The deeper truth of the “bounds” of love
May show you her secrets…

One of my favorite roles in this life is being a Massage Therapist.
I love seeing people over time.
So that I know their bodies better and better.
I guide people,
Into deeper awareness, of their sensations.
Of the spaces and places inside of them that could use more care.

I have deep conversations,
Or totally mundane ones,
Where I am fully with you.

I dwell in silences, where I can listen to
The subtle energies that have wisdom.
Meeting the tissue and feeling it become
More supple.

I love figuring out what works best for each person-
It’s always different and changing.

Sometimes I stretch peoples bodies for a whole session.
Sometimes I guide people deep inside and barely touch them.
Sometimes I break up scar tissue in ligaments and tendons
Sometimes I do energy work.
Sometimes I use sounds and vibration.
It differs depending on the person and the moment.
What is always true- is when you come to me,
I will listen, and love you, right where you are.

I work in Concord, Cambridge,and now in my new hometown SALISBURY MA.
