It's common advice to always brush your teeth right after eating. This is actually a myth! 🙅

It's better to wait a bit after eating acidic foods (like citrus fruits or soda). After eating acidic foods, your tooth enamel temporarily softens, and brushing right away can wear away this weakened enamel. It's best to rinse your mouth with water to help neutralize acids and freshen your breath. Wait 30 minutes before brushing your teeth.

Here are some tips on how to prevent cavities:
- Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste.
- Floss daily to remove food particles.
