The temperature is RISING!!!!

I really want to share a comment from one of our residents on the work that Johnny Keegan Tunstall and Karen Beecher Jorden have been doing for this very important fundraiser. Please see below:

Thank you both so much for all the time and energy you have both invested on our behalf with regard to the golf ball drop. We see every day the importance of Ives vehicles in the lives of our neighbors. With transportation, they can continue to live their normal lives. Someday that could be us and we are so fortunate to have you two working here.

This is incredible news: The Henry Keep Home, a private foundation that supports various community initiatives, particularly those focused on the elderly and disabled, has graciously become our “Hole in One” sponsor.

From this day forward, Henry Keep Home will be matching all ball sales at a 2 for 1. Their match will go directly to Ives Hill to assist in the proceeds for our vehicle. For example, if you purchase $100 in golf balls, then Henry Keep will donate to Ives Hill Retirement $200.

So PLEASE donate NOW! We really need your help to be able to purchase a new vehicle to transport our residents to and from their doctors and other vital appointments as this is, for some residents, their only means of transportation.

You may not be aware that Ives Hill Retirement Community is a non-for-profit organization. We truly rely on the help from the community. The Golf Ball Drop is our largest fundraiser. It is basically a 50/50 raffle, but instead of tickets, we use golf balls. Therefore, any assistance you can provide is so appreciated. The Golf Ball are 1 for $5 * 5 for $20 * 15 for $50 * 35 for $100 and 80 for $200. Any amount is welcome...Maybe you have a business and would like to donate an item or gift certificate. Or simply share this post on your page. We will start posting the "thermometer" every Friday until the day of the drop. As you can see we have a way to go! Thank you and have a wonderful weekend.
