We’re thrilled to celebrate a Pathfinder-supported health clinic in Dahshour, Egypt that just won the national “Building Trust in Primary Care Centers” award from the Ministry of Health and Population! This win reflects the power of Pathfinder’s Women-Led Climate Resilience model in Egypt, which achieves impact through:
✨ Leadership & Capacity Building: Training staff in communication skills to build community trust.
🌿 Sustainable Green Clinics Model: Piloting climate-friendly health care, a model now adopted by the Ministry of Health and Population.
Dr. Fatma Sayed Ali, Director of Dahshour clinic, shared: "The basic communication skills acquired from the training helped staff understand how to interact with patients and earn their trust."
Minister of Health and Population Dr. Abla El-Alfy visited the clinic, highlighting the green infrastructure; climate-conscious staff training; and focus on women's economic empowerment—the clinic features a loom women can use to develop their weaving skills, create products, and generate income.
This award validates our belief in sustainable health care that addresses the full spectrum of people lives.
Congratulations to the entire Dahshour team! Together, we're building a healthier, more sustainable future for Egyptian communities.
