Alexander "Alex" Jordan, age 94, of Watertown, SD, formerly of Waubay, SD, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at a local care center. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Watertown.

Visitation will be at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, starting at 9:30 a.m.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Codington County Post #17 of the American Legion, Watertown, and the Military Funeral Honors Team of the SD Army National Guard.

Benny H. Mogler age 70 of Lake Preston passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 at his home. Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM, Monday September 1, 2025 at the Lake Preston Lutheran Church.

Thinking of the Jeff "Louie" Albrecht family during this difficult time.

Jeffrey "Louie" Emil Albrecht, age 65, of De Smet, SD, met the arms of God, peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at one of his favorite places, his cabin on Lake Poinsett. He passed following a courageous battle against lymphoma. He fought against all odds but did not fear as his faith in the Lord was strong and never wavered.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at American Lutheran Church in De Smet, SD. The service will be livestreamed via www.crawfordosthus.com. Overflow will be accommodated in the fellowship hall of the American Lutheran Church and the theater of the De Smet Event and Wellness Center.

A prayer service will be held from 6:30-7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at American Lutheran Church in De Smet, SD.

Burial at De Smet Cemetery following the services.
