New exciting update 😁

I am back in the counseling world working towards my LPC at Community Counseling Services in Huron, SD 🎉 I have finished my first week and plan to start seeing clients again in December. CCS has been so kind and I'm so excited to be working with such a great team.

Thanks to all my amazing friends and family for supporting and encouraging me while I worked towards finding a new job and getting back to doing what I love. God has truly been with me and blessed me through this process. Commuting might be intimidating but because of you all I know i can handle it.❤️

This week marked my last week at Aspen Counseling Services. I have loved my time there and all the amazing counselors, people, and clients I got to meet. However, God has different plans for me and is leading me elsewhere. I'm excited to see what the future holds and while I will be taking a short break my goal continues to be working towards licensure as a professional counselor. I will continue to post on this page with any professional updates :)

🌟 Attention Adoptive Parents! 🌟

We are looking at hosting another support group session for adoptive mom and dads one day in August at Aspen. This is one session only at a $20 fee. We want to try and accommodate a day and time that works best for the majority of those who would like to attend. Once a date/time is selected we will post that. This is to help me get the ball rolling on interest and a potential date. Thank you! 💛

I am open to suggestions but options include:
Saturday August 2nd - morning or afternoon
Thursday August 8th - 5:30-6:30 PM
Friday August 8th - morning or afternoon
Wednesday August 13th - 6:00-7:00 PM

People come and go in our lives and at any age shifting social circles can be very difficult to manage. Remember to take care of yourself and know it's ok to miss people who no longer fit into your life as you grow.

This one’s for anyone who’s dealing with a friend breakup (or any kind of breakup) right now. 💔 The weekends can be harder than weekdays, but know that this feeling won’t last forever. Hopefully some of these ideas will be helpful!
