Today, December 31st 2025, as the sun went down I began the ritual, witnessed by friends and family.

What you’re seeing here came together through days of preparation for the road opening candle ritual for 2026, moving back and forth between the mundane and the unseen—making sure everything was in place before tonight’s ceremony. Forces from proper lineages were called, spirits drawn close, and offerings were given to Baphomet, Phra Ngang, ghosts, and assisting spirits. Each plate was fixed with its own candle, along with the materials that will become an amulet for each person this work was done for.

I want to thank and
for being part of this community, the support offered and help given to facilitate the process, making sure things move smoothly and with care. And thank you to everyone who took part in this working and trusted me with it. Twenty-one candles burned as part of this rite as a whole.

May you walk into the new year with open roads, real opportunity, prosperity, good health, laughter, and a life that feels full and worth living.

Road Opening Candle Ritual with Baphomet
December 31st

A threshold working to end stagnation and open the road into the new year.

This ritual is done to remove obstacles, sever cords tied to the past, and clear conditions that restrict movement. What no longer belongs is cut away so momentum can return.

Baphomet is worked here as balance held under pressure—opposing forces brought into alignment, not softened. When the elements within the spiritual body are corrected, movement resumes. Prosperity follows cleared paths, not noise.

Each taper candle is individually prepared and fixed with your personal information, then actively worked during the ritual. Offerings are made to Baphomet and assisting spirits on behalf of the group.

This year’s working is more involved than last year’s. The structure is tighter, the handling heavier, and the scope expanded.

At the conclusion of the ritual, a consecrated amulet is crafted from the charge of the working and shipped to you as a physical anchor of what was set in motion.

Well well well.
Last night was the Darkest Night Market in Peabody, MA, and once again it delivered.

Always a solid time meeting new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, and finally putting handshakes to names I’ve followed for years. Great vendors, real work, real conversations. Plenty of laughs, friends stopping by, and more than a few deep talks about the magic Ajarn Apichai and I do.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come say hello, and a special thank you to those who took some of my work home with them—it’s appreciated more than you know.

This closes out another year of markets put together by the Salem Witchcraft & Folklore Festival crew. Always inspiring, always well curated, always a good reminder that the craft is alive and evolving.

These are thoughts that came from studying both Conjure and Thai Sorcery.
Both systems use holy words to ignite the magic, and because of that, people always ask me:
“Do I need to recite the prayer that comes with the amulet? Can I just carry it? Can I skip the activation?”
So here’s the truth, across both traditions:

Real results come from three pillars:

1. Your Past Momentum
Your history is half the work. Strong momentum lifts you. Weak momentum drags you. Magic doesn’t erase your past; it works from it.

2. Your Present Behavior
Your discipline, clarity, and choices right now either support the work or sabotage it. You can’t pray for blessings while living in contradiction.

3. The Tools
Chants, prayers, spirits, oils, amulets — these are amplifiers, not replacements. They add force only when the first two pillars are aligned.
Carrying an amulet without engagement is like carrying a blade you never sharpen.

Think of it like this:
You need 50 points for a result.
Your past gives you 30.
Your present gives you 10.
The tools can add the last 10.
But if you expect the amulet or chant to carry the full load, nothing moves.

HOW TO PRAY FOR REAL EFFECT

1. Don’t chant on autopilot.
Mindless recitation is useless. Meaning helps but presence matters more.

2. Chant with awareness.
Follow every syllable — Na, Mo, Tas, Sa — fully conscious of each sound as you speak it.
This creates mindfulness. Mindfulness creates concentration.
That combination generates actual power.

Chanting with awareness is sorcery.
Chanting like a parrot is just noise.

THE TRUTH
Magic responds to alignment — past, present, intention, and focus working together.
When those pieces lock, the prayer becomes a blade.
When they don’t, even the holiest words fall flat.

Celebrating the Prince of Darkness

I can still remember the first time Ozzy’s voice found me. I was a kid in El Salvador, sitting in front of the TV during those early days when MTV Mexico finally started airing in the country. One afternoon the video for Dreamer came on, and it stopped me in my tracks. I didn’t understand a word of English yet, but the sound didn’t need translating. The melody, the atmosphere, the weight of those words… it hit like a spell. Hypnotic. That tune lived in my head when I drew, shaping the way I saw the world even before I knew what metal really was.

Not long after, The Osbournes hit the screen, and that show became a cornerstone for me. The humor, the chaos, the raw honesty—it’s still one of my favorites to this day. Ozzy’s music, his voice, and his presence carved themselves into the early foundations of who I became as an artist.

To the greatest man. A legendary crafter of metal. A force whose work lit the fuse inside me, fueling everything I’ve created since—every sketch, every ritual, every echo inside the Manticore’s Den.

There are nights when the current hits different, when the flame in the dark reminds you of every mile you’ve taken and every mile still ahead. I keep circling back to that old line I’ve hummed from time to time — the road to nowhere leads to me.

Truth is, I’ve always been on that road… by choice, by will, by the strange pull of whatever waits at the next turn. We all make those small decisions that end up carving the path under our feet. Sometimes you swear you’re stepping off, only to find yourself right back on it, boots in the dust, eyes forward. Because it was always your road to walk, and the fruit that grows from it is yours to claim.

Salve Exú, Salve Pombagira, Salve Quimbanda.
For the lessons, the tests, the openings, and the quiet warnings whispered at the crossroads.
For keeping the fire hot and the path honest.

The main temple is shifting again, and the Manticore’s crew is moving with it. I’m no longer running this beast alone — I now have a manager and an assistant helping steer the work so I can stay where I belong: at the forge, hands deep in creation, feeding the current through winter.

Messages still reach me, nothing gets lost, but now there are more hands making sure everything flows the way it should.

And with that — announcement time.

Manticore’s Den will be at the Darkest Night Market in Peabody. The final market of the year, and the very first one I stepped into last winter. A full cycle completed. I’ve shown up for every single market they’ve hosted, made friends, built connections, sharpened my craft, and carried that fire forward.

It’s been a wild, powerful year. I’ve enjoyed every second of it.

And I’m excited — truly — for what’s cooking behind the scenes right now. New works are on the altar, and some of them will be available before the year closes.

Heaven’s flame meets the marrow of the earth, both pulled through will, through command, through pact.
In that crossing, matter remembers its shape, and spirit takes on weight.
