🍦✨ Rain or shine, nothing stops us from having fun! Our ice cream social was moved indoors today, but we still enjoyed sundaes, with all kinds of toppings; along with showing off our trivia smarts between bites.

The best part? Seeing everyone smiling and enjoying a scoop (or two!) together. ❤️

September Employee Spotlight

We are thrilled to recognize Chelsey, a Home Care Aide, for Employee of the Month. She is the kind of teammate you can always count on; steady, caring, and ready to help wherever needed. Her calm demeanor and great sense of humor make even the busiest days brighter. And now she is taking on her biggest role yet, walking down the aisle! We’re lucky to have her on our team! Congrats to the newlywed, Chelsey!

We are also excited to recognize Nyla, an Activity Assistant, for Employee of the Month! She has a gift for making residents feel seen and cared for. She always brings a positive attitude to her work, whether she’s leading an activity or simply sharing a smile. Dependable, kind, and a true team player, Nyla shows up every day ready to brighten someone’s moment. We think of her as the “glue in the activity room” during the evening hours!

One of our residents sat at the piano and began playing “You Are My Sunshine” and many other songs; completely from memory! As her music drifted through the halls, people started gathering in, drawn by the familiar melody. ❤️

She also shared a saying from her dad: “If you don’t have music in your heart, you don’t have nothing.” 🎹💛
