May is Mental Health Awareness month and we have loved seeing all of the different posts, resources, affirmations and educational information about mental health throughout the month.

Just as a final reminder, before the month ends, please make yourself and your mental health a priority.

If you are quick to advocate for your friends and encourage them to seek therapy services but hesitate to do it for yourself, take your own advice and make the appointment.

Therapy takes courage and can be scary but you are strong and you can do hard things

Your schedule may be full and you are doing things for your family, friends or the community but you have to take care of yourself to take care of others!

We can always find reasons not to do things or talk ourselves out of things but take the steps!

Sunny Days Therapeutics has amazing therapists who will help you get your journey to improved mental health started 💚

We wanted to give a huge shout out to all high school and college graduates!!

We know that the journey to graduation is often met with challenges, barriers and set backs but YOU DID IT!! We hope that you pause to celebrate this tremendous milestone.

Please remember that change can also be very difficult. If you are a student who needs help processing and deciding what is next, need help adjusting to recent changes or need help coping with new stressors, please know that you do not have to do it alone and we are here for you.

Parents, we know that changes can be difficult for you as well! It is okay to reach out for help during this season of change.

Some of the warning signs of teacher burnout are
•Change in appetite
•Weight gain or loss
•Anxiety or depression
•Fatigue
•Sleep disorders
•Lack of job satisfaction
•Inability to enjoy downtime

Ways to prevent and recover from teacher Burnout
•Talk about it with others
•Engage in regular self care
•Establish boundaries
•Take a break
•Seek professional help
