Yoga Sculpt & Strength Training Teacher Training is officially here.

If you’ve ever thought about teaching Sculpt, Hot Strength, or expanding your skills as an instructor this is your opportunity.

This hands-on training is designed to help you confidently lead high-energy, strength-based classes by combining yoga flow, strength training, Pilates-inspired core work, intentional cardio, and powerful class programming.

April’s Member of the Month: Christina Crowe

Christina first came to Lotus looking to build strength and improve flexibility after a friend recommended trying a class when the studio opened. She quickly fell in love with hot yoga, the combination of heat and challenge kept her coming back. Her practice has become a meaningful way to slow down, reset, and care for both body and mind, while continuing to gain strength and flexibility along the way. Half Moon Pose is her favorite, offering the perfect blend of balance and focus.

Christina describes Lotus as feeling like coming home, from the calming lavender scent to the warm, friendly welcomes. Outside the studio, she enjoys life with her husband and two daughters, Taylor and Ansley. She loves hiking, reading, needlepoint, and recently picked up Mahjong, and treasures time spent with family and friends. We’re so grateful Christina is part of our Lotus community.

Pose of the Month
Extended Standing Hand-to-Foot Pose

How to get into the pose:
Start standing tall. Shift your weight into one foot and draw the opposite knee in toward your chest. Hold the big toe or leg, then begin to extend the leg forward while keeping the spine tall.

How to come out:
Slowly bend the knee back in, release the foot, and return to standing with control.

Modifications:
Use a strap, hold behind the thigh, keep a bend in the knee, or simply stay with the knee lifted.

Be mindful of:
Avoid locking the standing knee or rounding the spine. Focus on steady breath and control rather than depth.
