From our CEO and forever camper, :

Throughout this carousel are snapshots from this summer’s unforgettable overnight camp experiences. As I dropped my own daughter off at sleepaway camp this week, I found myself feeling what so many of us are carrying in the wake of the recent tragedy in Texas: grief, worry, and deep love, all at once.

At esp, we know that for many families, camp isn’t a luxury - it’s essential. A place of care, connection, and courage. Our staff train hard, but no manual can prepare you for everything. Still, our families inspire us daily, choosing community and joy even in the face of risk.

Life is short. Let’s make it joyful. Thank you for believing in this mission that runs far deeper than camp - it’s about belonging, healing, and hope for people of all abilities.

The Drew Swan Sibling Scholarship honors Andrew “Drew” Swan, sibling of Samantha Swan who is an esp participant. This scholarship is awarded annually to a sibling of an individual with a disability in the state of Georgia, contingent upon acceptance or enrollment in a two-year or four-year nonprofit higher education institution.
