We can’t wait for Saturday, May 9!! Our local car community is showing up to bring a car show experience to the residents at Hearthwood at Athens🏁. Stop by to take a look at some beautiful vehicles, grab a hotdog for lunch and visit with some of the most incredible folks you’ll ever meet🚗

Neon Day!! It felt like 1987 with all the dazzling colors and 80s-inspired clothing. Our residents really love these special days and the thrill of waiting to see what everyone will wear!🩵

Recently, we posed a single question to all memory care residents: What is your favorite thing? Each resident had their own unique preference, but one resident expressed a fondness for assembling objects. We found a vintage set of Tinker Toys, and it appears that everyone enjoys building!! It provides excellent sensory stimulation, fine motor skill practice, and cognitive engagement…as well as fun!!!
