This new addition to our practice is lights out. ✨
Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and are essential to nearly every process in the body. There are two types: essential amino acids, which must come from food or supplementation, and non-essential amino acids, which the body can produce but still relies on heavily for optimal health and repair.
Many people take amino acids orally, but we love the injectable route because it bypasses the GI tract and liver, allowing your body to absorb and use them more efficiently. These injections are extremely safe for most people and deliver powerful support at the cellular level.
Amino acids play a role in so many things we care about: skin health and collagen production, bone and cartilage support, joint health, tissue repair, fat metabolism, hormone production, and overall metabolic function. They truly support the foundation of how your body builds, heals, and maintains itself.
Our amino blend contains lysine, citrulline, arginine, and proline:
Lysine is an essential amino acid that supports collagen formation, calcium absorption, and bone health.
Citrulline helps increase nitric oxide, improving circulation, cellular energy, and metabolic performance.
Arginine also supports nitric oxide production and plays a major role in tissue repair, immune function, and hormone signaling.
Proline is one of the key structural amino acids in collagen and is critical for skin, joints, and connective tissue health.
We typically recommend a small weekly sub-Q injection you can do at home, or you’re welcome to come into the office for a larger intramuscular dose monthly or twice monthly.
This is included in our Spring Capsule, but it’s also available as a standalone option if you want to add it to your wellness routine.
Your skin and cells will thank you.
