A lot of people think they could spot an abuser because they will act like an A Hole.

Truth is, a lot of abusers are really good at evoking sympathy and gaining respect. Controlling their social image is usually a major component of maintaining control over their close relationships (where they abuse).

We need people to stop assuming that because the abuser is nice to them, they cant possibly be abusive behind closed doors.

Ethiopia 🇪🇹 made history today by opening the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), the biggest hydropower project in Africa.

The event was attended by African leaders. Built on the Blue Nile, the dam can produce 5,150 MW of electricity, about the same as three medium-sized nuclear plants.

This project will bring power to millions of Ethiopians and boost the country’s future.
