We offer a beautiful, fully-equipped studio room for our full schedule of Yoga and exciting world dance classes, including African dance, bellydance, Samba, Ballet Folklorico, Worldanz, Salsa and Capoeira. We are an equal access st

udio for all people and provide specialty classes in Meditation, Yoga for Seniors, and Yoga for Farmworkers classes. We also have classes for children in Capoeira, Ballet Folklorico, Yoga, and Family Yoga where a parent or caregiver can practice with their child. Our healing arts clinic includes Acupuncture, Ayurveda, Massage, Homeopathy, and Shamanic Energy Medicine practitioners. Dear Chairman Cummings and Santa Cruz County Supervisors,

The following is excerpted from a petition circulated in Spanish and English to our Watsonville and surround community, it has over 850 signatures. Please do not abandon us out here. Watsonville's long-overlooked residents are watching for your leadership in a prioritizaton of fixing Paulsen road, knowing there has already been a delay and great contrast with how quickly Main Street at Soquel Creek was reopened with a bridge fix in a more affluent and largely white residential area in only a matter of days.

Thank you for your attention to our rural community's needs. We are a larger rural community --- one that constitutes much use of Paulsen road, and property tax revenue coming from this area is significant.

Good things are coming for Paulsen Road! The County is listening to YOU :) Please share the petition, which currently has 650 signatures. If we get to 1000 signatures it will really help raise priority for reopening soon and raising the road for a permanent fix this year. Thank you for sharing widely!

Public comment period will follow the presentation. Although the main focus of fixing Paulsen will be in September, we need to weigh in on getting our road re-opened ASAP for use for summer school families and teachers and fire crews, and workers trying to get to our jobs. Por favor, firme nuestra petición comunitaria (Español / Ingles) ante la Junta de Supervisores del Condado de Santa Cruz para reabrir inmediatamente Paulsen Road durante la temporada seca y obtener fondos de la Medida K para repararla permanentemente levantando Paulsen Road, lo que también protegerá los humedales. Los padres locales en cinco escuelas, incluidas dos escuelas autónomas que se encuentran en Whiting/Paulsen en Casserly, dependen de poder acceder a nuestros niños en caso de una emergencia personal o catastrófica. Watsonville Yoga, Dance and Healing Arts is a bilingual studio opening in August 2016, at 375 N. Main across from the Watsonville Civic Plaza, in the heart of downtown. We offer two beautiful, fully-equipped large studio rooms for our full schedule of Yoga and exciting world dance classes, including African dance, bellydance, Samba, Ballet Folklorico, Worldanz, Salsa and Capoeira. We are an equal access studio for all people and provide specialty classes in Meditation, Yoga for Seniors, and Yoga for Farmworkers classes weekly that are free or by-donation. We also have classes for children in Capoeira, Ballet Folklorico, Yoga, and Family Yoga where a parent or caregiver can practice with their child. Our healing arts clinic includes Acupuncture, Ayurveda, Massage, Homeopathy, and Shamanic Energy Medicine practitioners. There is a 3-hr. free parking lot behind our building located on Beach Street and plenty of 90 minute spots out front on Main.
