What Is Neuro Occupational Therapy?

After a traumatic brain injury, stroke, or other neurological diagnosis, everyday tasks can feel overwhelming. Neuro occupational therapy helps individuals regain independence in daily living, cognitive functioning, and community participation.

Is Spinal Cord Injury a Neurological Condition?
Yes — a spinal cord injury (SCI) is a neurological condition.
Although it affects the spine, the spinal cord is part of the central nervous system, carrying messages between the brain and body. When the cord is damaged, those signals are disrupted, impacting movement, sensation, and everyday function.
Because of this, recovery requires specialized spinal cord injury rehabilitation and neurological care, not just orthopedic treatment.
