🌟 What an unforgettable week at the All American Quarter Horse Congress! 🌟
Behind every shining show moment lies countless hours of hard work, preparation, and heart. For the PFP Show Team, the journey began at 9:00 PM, loading up trailers filled with horses, saddles, feed, tack, and everything needed to care for both our riders and our four-legged teammates. With every detail checked and every tail packed, we hit the road for a 6½-hour overnight drive to Columbus, Ohio, determined to make this an experience our riders would never forget.
By sunrise, our team was unloading horses, setting up stalls, organizing equipment, and transforming our little corner of Congress into “home” for the week, complete with a stall for tacking, one for the girls’ gear, and one for the boys’, etc. From there, the real work began. Each day was filled with riding practice, lunging sessions, polishing skills, and preparing for classes, all while cheering one another on and caring for our amazing horses.
We were also honored to attend the Equestrians With Disabilities (EWD) Dinner, where riders from across the country gathered to celebrate inclusion, growth, and the power of possibility. The EWD division continues to grow, and we are so proud to play a part in its success and representation at this world-class event.
It takes six days of dedication, teamwork, late nights, and early mornings to make horse shows like this possible, and we wouldn’t trade a second of it. 💚
Thank you to our riders, families, volunteers, and staff for making this journey extraordinary. You embody everything that makes Partners for Progress what it is: community, courage, and compassion in motion. 🐴✨
