Having entered into yoga for physical purposes in the beginning it was not long until spiritual awareness grew for Sharayne also. So having unique experience in previous yoga classes Sharayne decided to take a leap of faith and begin her journey into becoming a yoga instructor , with knowledge of the benefits it help her with emotionally ,spiritually ,and physical she wanted to give others a chance at the same experiences she experienced and part of it‘s unique healing abilities was raising vibration.

Amanda Ruano owns and runs a vegan bakery that specializes in cookies, brooks, vegan dough, and now cakes. Amanda took her personal experience with her dairy intolerance and saw an opportunity to add to the market in her own special way. She then created MandaDough Vegan co., a vegan bakery that creates all kinds of wonderful confectionaries that is sure to make any sweets connoisseur delight with every bite.

First Place Sanctuary is an at-home wellness homestead and yoga studio in Gurnee, Illinois. Ran by owner Calvin Piktel, certified RYT200 under the Himalayan Institute and Sound Healing practitioner. With a focus on both physical and mental trauma recovery as well as PTSD, First Place Sanctuary offers unique ways to tap into wellness. Offering services such as restorative Himalayan style vinyasa with guided meditations, Crystal bowl sound healing, fresh on-site grown microgreens, opportunities to work and play with chickens and even experience the therapeutic benefits of beekeeping!

In 2023 Calvin at First Place Sanctuary partnered with non-for-profit organization Growing Healthy Veterans to use his property as a satellite campus for GHV. Allowing the opportunity for these wellness services to easily be offered to the veterans in their program."

Jeffery Williams is a Chicago-raised private chef, and Waukegan Urban Farming And sustainability teacher focused on solving the food crisis throughout urban landscapes. After six years of supporting and coaching high school students, he found peace and a safe space in his backyard during the pandemic. Jeff connected his passions for cooking and gardening and founded From Hood To Table. He aims to prioritize access to the best and freshest food by teaching communities how to grow and use what they have to make compost and organic inputs. He intends to build a bridge to the past and connect black and brown communities to a more sustainable and flourishing lifestyle.
