According to the CDC, each year, nearly 20,000 women in the United States are diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on a disease that often goes undetected until later stages.

Because symptoms such as bloating, pelvic pain, or changes in appetite can be subtle, it’s important to listen to your body and talk to your provider if something doesn't feel right.

Early detection saves lives. Regular check-ins, knowing your family history, and paying attention to changes in your health are powerful steps toward prevention and awareness.

Together we can spread knowledge, encourage screenings, and support those affected by ovarian cancer.

When it comes to breast health, most women know how important regular mammograms are. But one factor that often goes undiscussed is breast density.

If your mammogram report mentions “dense breasts,” you might be wondering what that means and what steps to take next.

Having dense breasts is common and not a diagnosis, but it can affect how breast tissue appears on a mammogram. That’s why it’s important to talk with your provider about what it means for your personal screening plan.

At Women’s Health Care, we believe knowledge is power. We're here to guide you through your options and help you feel confident in your breast health decisions every step of the way.
