trained lay counselors offer free and confidential counseling in the areas of pregnancy. These issues include: those experiencing an unexpected pregnancy, those struggling with overwhelming fear, anger, guilt and sadness from an abortion, concerned about abstinence, and baby necessities such as diapers, blankets, infant clothes, maternity clothes.

When Christy reached out to a church for help, she was just hoping for a roof over her head. What she found instead was healing, hope, and a renewed relationship with Christ. Through our Member Assistance Program (MAP), Christy received Christ-centered counseling during one of the most painful seasons of her life.

Christy was navigating homelessness, an abusive and alcoholic spouse, grief, and loss. Her CFS counselor walked alongside her with evidence-based care, helping her process trauma, rebuild her faith, and reconnect with her son.

Stories like Christy’s are why our MAP program exists, to ensure individuals and families can access affordable, faith-based counseling when they need it most.
