OK, that sounds like a typical motivational statement. But if you think about it…

If you are not building yourself into the person that is worthy of the success you seek, it will never come.
If you do not have love and respect for yourself, you will sabotage your your success because you are subconsciously undeserving.

How to make weight loss suck:⠀

- Cut out carbs 🍞 ⠀
- Cut out donuts 🍩 ⠀
- Cut out wine 🍷 ⠀
- Cut out pizza 🍕 ⠀
- Cut out tacos 🌮 ⠀


Losing weight doesn’t have to suck⠀⠀
But most DIETS make it suck⠀⠀
No carbs, no alcohol, no sweets...🙄⠀⠀
Yeah...ok...sure⠀⠀
🙅🏾‍♂️ That’s no way to live⠀⠀
I know, because I’ve experimented with a ton of different diets that make you eliminate all the good stuff⠀⠀
Diets that make you eliminate anything are a sure fire way to put you on a path to developing an unhealthy relationship with food⠀⠀
A path that inevitably leads you back to eating the way that caused the weight gain in the first place⠀⠀
Look here..⠀⠀
You can lose weight while still eating donuts 🤤⠀⠀
And drinking wine 😲⠀⠀
And enjoying your favorite foods 🤩⠀⠀
You just have to be strategic about it ⠀⠀
Make weight loss suck less and more sustainable ⠀⠀
Eliminate elimination 🙌⠀⠀⠀⠀

When the hair comes down and the sweat stains remain, at the end of the day, I GIVE A SQUAT. Can you tell😆🍑?

Do you? Or are you all talk?

You say in a moment of inspiration that you're going to change, then INSTEAD of taking action, you think about it... 🤔

And your unhealthy self, that you're not happy with, that keeps you stuck, that says things like:
..busy..tired..broke..fat..ugly..old..sick..unworthy

"Talks" you right out of your moment of inspiration.

Are you hearing this?

Are you really allowing your old tired, sick, broke, busy self to talk YOU, the true self, the self in your moments of inspiration, out of your best life?

Stop. Get real. And get to it.

You might have heard that stress kills.

Did you know it can also make you fat?

True fact.

When we’re stressed, our bodies release the hormone cortisol.
It’s part of the “fight or flight” reaction that served a super-important function in caveman times when our ancestors encountered, say, a saber-tooth tiger.

But it can be deadly in our modern world, leading to sugar cravings and overeating – which cause us to be overweight and want more sugar.

Which causes more stress.

Vicious circle, indeed.

Stress also causes a lot of people to indulge in “comfort foods,” which tend to be high-fat, high-sodium, and high-sugar.

How many times have you come home from a hard day and cracked open a bag of potato chips or polished off a pizza?
It happens.

So, learn to manage your stress by exercising, improving sleep, drinking less alcohol, and eating a healthy diet.

Try yoga, meditation, mindfulness, or getting lost in a good book or music.

When you feel your body tensing up, notice it, and deliberately calm down with three deep breaths.

Smile, even a fake one. It actually does lead our brains to smiling and meaning it. Similarly, “fake laughing” produces the same stress-fighting physical reaction that “real” laughter does.

It’s true!

If you’ve been doing all the right things and your body isn’t changing, you know where you should be looking – into your ability to manage stress.
