Ten years ago, Rachel walked through the doors of Complete Care - Kensington as a newly practicing LPN with just a few years of experience. She began her journey on the rehab unit working full-time day shift, quickly becoming known for her dedication, compassion, and commitment to her residents. From the very beginning, she embraced the challenges of the role and used every opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.

Over the years, Rachel was given the opportunity to step into leadership as Rehab Unit Manager, a role she held for approximately five years. During that time, she developed her leadership style, strengthened her resilience, and built a strong foundation in team development and clinical excellence. While advancing her career, she also returned to school and earned her RN, achieving a milestone she had long worked toward.

Her continued growth within Complete Care - Kensington led her to the Assistant Director of Nursing role, and she now proudly serves as Director of Nursing. Throughout her journey, Rachel has remained deeply grounded in gratitude for the mentors, colleagues, and teams who supported and encouraged her along the way.

Rachel’s story reflects what Complete Care strives to foster across all of its communities: opportunity, growth, and purpose-driven careers in healthcare. Her leadership today is shaped by every step of her journey and every person who has been part of it.

Complete Care Kensington is proud to celebrate Rachel and the impact she continues to make each day as a leader within the facility and the broader Complete Care team.

Earlier this week, residents enjoyed a special musical visit from Tony on the accordion. The cheerful tunes filled the room and brought plenty of smiles and toe tapping along the way.

Music is a powerful tool for reducing stress, helping to lift moods, spark memories, and create a calming atmosphere. Moments like these remind us how something as simple as live music can brighten the day for everyone.
