Today marks the last day of our wonderful Community Guide Assistant, Alie. Alie has been such an amazing addition to ACAP, and the care and love she has shown to our members is truly unmatched. While we are sad to see her go, we know this is not goodbye forever and we look forward to seeing her again. Thank you, Alie, for the kindness, dedication, and joy you brought to our community. A big thank you to the Friends of Retzer for their generous grant supporting programming at Retzer Nature Center!
Because of their support, Winging it Through the Seasons had the opportunity to create meaningful, hands-on experiences in nature. Thank you for helping create opportunities to connect with the outdoors—we had a blast this session!

At the end of February, the Let’s Go Snow! class said farewell to winter and closed out the ski season with a day of adaptive skiing with AMP at the Wilmont ski hill. Big thank you to AMP and all the volunteers for an amazing day of skiing. We had a blast!

Thanks so much for the shout out and tag! We had so much fun volunteering at Eras Senior Network, Inc.

For the past six months, we have been lucky to welcome volunteers from ACAP Inc. Waukesha every Wednesday here at Eras. 💚

ACAP's mission is to encourage people with disabilities to achieve their highest potential and develop life-long skills that help them become valued and contributing members of their communities, and we saw that mission in action each week.

Our ACAP volunteers supported so many important projects, including clerical tasks, our Birthday Card Program, Holiday Giving, and several mailing projects. Each one of them worked so hard and did a great job!

Last week marked this group's final day volunteering with us as they move on to new adventures, and they will truly be missed. Thank you for making our Wednesdays brighter! 🌟

While this group will be leaving, a new group will be starting in the next few weeks, and we are excited that this wonderful partnership will continue. 💚

Thank you to the students in Carroll University's Psychosocial Interventions class for doing several wellness activities with us last week! We worked on teamwork and communication skills by doing an egg drop, made a sensory board to help us cope with stress, and learned about healthy, budget-friendly, grocery shopping.
