🎉 Hello, New Year. We’re Glad You’re Here!

New year, same you - and that’s more than okay! Whether you’re feeling hopeful, unsure, motivated, tired, or somewhere in between, there’s no “right” way to start the year. Growth doesn’t have to be loud, goals don’t have to be perfect, and taking care of your mental health can be as simple as checking in with yourself.

And if you do choose to seek support, you’re not alone - around three-quarters of people who go to therapy report that it helps them feel better and cope more effectively.

Here’s to a year of small wins, deep breaths, and giving yourself a little more grace. We’re here for it (and for you!) every step of the way.

Therapy isn't just for the tough times... it's for the new times, the old times, the in-between times. It's for growing, healing, and becoming even more you.

Why wait? Take that first step in the next year. Your future self will thank you. đź’›

Even the strongest people have hard days.
Struggling with your mental health doesn’t mean you’re weak - it means you’re human.

Reaching out for support is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself.
You deserve care, too. đź’™

Every day, we're bombarded with endless information and headlines that can feel overwhelming. It's okay to feel exhausted by it all-you're not alone. 🌍

Remember to take breaks, unplug when needed, and find moments of peace amidst the chaos. Reach out, talk about it, and prioritize self-care (while also taking "committed action" as our ACT therapists would say). đź’–

*Everything* making you anxious? Here's a coping skill to try:

Progressive Muscle Relaxation involves tensing and then relaxing different muscle groups in your body, which can help release physical tension and promote a sense of relaxation.

1. Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down.
2. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to center yourself.
3. Start with your toes and gradually work your way up through your body, tensing and then relaxing each muscle group for about 5-10 seconds each.
4. As you tense each muscle group, focus on the sensation of tension and then consciously release it as you relax the muscle.
5. Progress through your body, including your feet, calves, thighs, abdomen, chest, arms, hands, shoulders, neck, and face.
6. Continue this process until you've tensed and relaxed all major muscle groups in your body.

By systematically tensing and relaxing your muscles, you can become more aware of physical tension and learn to release it, which can help alleviate feelings of anxiety and stress.
