✨ Welcoming our 2026 Community Partner Award honorees! ✨
Dr. Lindsey Davies completed Marquette University’s pre-dental scholars program and earned her dental degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. She completed both a general practice residency and a pediatric dental residency at Staten Island University Hospital. A southeastern Wisconsin native, she founded Oconomowoc Pediatric Dentistry in 2017.

Dr. Stacy Michels grew up in Lake Country and attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison before earning her dental degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. After practicing general dentistry for six years, she completed a pediatric dental residency at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and joined the practice in 2020.

Together, they lead a women-owned, family-focused pediatric dental practice, making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community.

We are proud to honor Dr. DeAnne Blazek at this year’s Laugh for a Smile.

After 42 years in the dental field, Dr. Blazek recently retired, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to shape Community Smiles Dental for years to come. Her journey began as a hygienist before she went on to become a dentist. After nearly 30 years in private practice, she transitioned to Community Smiles Dental, where she had already volunteered for many years.

Throughout her time at CSD, Dr. Blazek made a lasting impact on both patients and staff. She had a remarkable way of helping children feel safe and supported in the dental chair. Having once been a child who needed dental care her family could not afford, she understood firsthand how life changing compassionate access to care can be. That experience guided the way she showed up for every patient.

She was recently featured by the Women’s & Girls’ Fund, where she shared this advice:
“Do something you love, with people you love, for people you love. Surround yourself with positive people, never give up, and enjoy the journey.”

Her career truly reflects those words.

Community Smiles Dental celebrated their second “Share a Smile Day” in partnership with the Waukesha Elks Lodge last week! The Elks generously sponsored the supplies for patient care at our Waukesha Clinic, as well as treated our team with lunch! This incredible partnership helps to ensure healthy smiles for our community. 🤍
