The magic is officially back ✨

Last Sunday, we hosted our very first session on our new farm, and my heart is so full. It was an absolute joy to share this space with a wonderful family of three and, of course, the ever-graceful Storm. 🤍

One of the highlights was watching little Lia meet Cocoa Puff. Seeing Cocoa’s curiosity and friendliness shine through reminded me exactly why we do this.

Being back in my element and witnessing these connections is a dream come true. This is my calling, and after a lot of hard work to get the farm ready, this is truly just the beginning. 🦋🐴❤️

Today is a big one—Storm is officially 16! They say we don’t choose the horses we need; they choose us. Four years ago, the universe decided we belonged together, and I’ve spent every day since being grateful that she picked me to be her person. She is, quite simply, the best partner I could ever ask for - the heartbeat of Equine Soul Connections and my greatest teacher.

But if you know Storm, you know she isn’t just a "zen master." Behind that intuitive, soul-searching gaze is a girl who:
Is "professionally curious" (mostly about what’s in your pockets). 🍎
Has a very specific "opinion" on how fast the hay should be served. 😌
Will give you a playful nudge the second you stop giving her attention. 😁

Storm, thank you for the quiet lessons and the loud laughs. Thank you for mirroring my soul and for making me a better human just by being in your orbit.

Our little girl is back from training with the amazing Allie Julius 💕

I truly don’t have words for the progress she’s made in such a short time—her confidence and connection have grown so beautifully. It’s incredible what the right guidance, patience, and understanding can do.

Cocoa Puff is just getting started, and I’m feeling beyond grateful for Allie and the love, patience, and dedication she pours into my girls 🫶🏼

It’s been a little quiet on our page lately — and for a good reason.

Over the past weeks we’ve been busy bringing our horses home to our farm and settling into this new chapter.

And yes… horses. We added another member to our family and would love to introduce you to Cocoa Puff 🤎

Cocoa is 7 months old and currently in training, learning, growing, and figuring out life alongside Storm. While she won’t be part of sessions just yet, visitors will definitely get to meet her when they come by.

Our season will start a little later this year as we focus on building out the barn and pastures to create the best possible home for our horses and space for future sessions.

We’re so excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to see familiar faces again — and welcome new ones too.

Today, Storm and I shared a moment that words almost can’t hold 🤍

For the first time ever, she chose to lay down beside me — and allowed me to gently pet and cuddle her. This may seem small to some, but in the horse world, it is anything but.

For those who aren’t familiar with horses: they are prey animals, meaning their instincts are wired for survival. A horse will only lay down when they feel completely safe — when their nervous system softens, their guard is fully down, and they trust the space they’re in. Laying down leaves them vulnerable and unable to flee, so this choice is never casual.
Storm didn’t just rest today… she trusted.

I am deeply grateful for the bond we are building, for her willingness to meet me where I am, and for the quiet lessons she teaches me about patience, presence, and safety without words.

Thank you, Storm, for choosing softness with me. I don’t take it lightly 🤍✨️

As we step into the final month of the year, may we give ourselves permission to pause.
To look back; gently, honestly and take in everything this year has held.

From January to December, so much has shifted.
There were moments that lifted us, moments that challenged us, and moments that quietly shaped us in ways we didn’t expect. When we look at our lives through a wider lens, we often see how much strength, resilience, and inner expansion was happening beneath the surface.

Hey everyone! It's me, Storm! 🐴

I wanted to trot on over and wish all my friends and followers a very happy Thanksgiving! 🥕

I am so incredibly thankful for all the amazing people who visit us and share our space. I'm thankful for the warm barn, the extra treats, the soft hay, and especially for the quiet, soulful connections we make during our meditation and sound bath sessions. It makes being an ESC horse the best!

We are already looking ahead and getting so excited for our 2026 season! We can't wait to see all the familiar faces who come connect with us now, and we look forward to meeting all the new faces who will be joining our barn family.
