When you reset your body—through rest, hydration, nutrition, and mindful movement—you give your systems a chance to recover and function optimally. It supports better digestion, improved focus, stronger immunity, and more stable moods.
Resetting your body is an act of self-care that allows you to recharge, restore balance, and return to your daily life with greater vitality and purpose.

The polyvagal theory explains how our nervous system responds to stress, social connection, and emotional regulation.

Understanding this can aid in trauma recovery, therapy, and emotional regulation through breathwork, grounding, and social connection

Polyvagal Theory teaches us that each state serves a purpose.
The goal isn’t to stay calm all the time — it’s learning how to return to safety.

Step outside for your next therapy session. Wait, how do I do that??

Walk and talk therapy takes the healing process outdoors—combining movement, fresh air, and conversation. Instead of sitting in an office, therapist and client walk side by side in a calming natural setting, creating space for reflection and emotional release.

Walking can ease tension, boost mood, and make it easier to open up. Sometimes, a change of scenery is exactly what the mind needs to move forward

Just let Sue know that you want to walk your next session!

Daylights savings is coming!

Daylight saving time can be surprisingly tough on kids because it can disrupts their natural sleep rhythms and daily routines. Children rely heavily on consistency, and even a one-hour shift can throw off their internal clocks.

Parents can help by gradually adjusting bedtime and wake-up times a few days before the change, keeping routines consistent, and maximizing morning sunlight exposure to help reset their internal clocks.

Good luck to everyone with the upcoming time change. Don't forget to take care of yourself too!
