🌍🤝 A Heartfelt Exchange of Knowledge and Compassion 🇺🇦🇺🇸

Recently we had the honor of hosting a remarkable clinical team from Ukraine at our rehabilitation hospital. Together, we shared invaluable ideas, best practices, and strategies on providing care for patients. 🏥

The team had the opportunity to tour our facilities, observe our equipment, and exchange insights on rehabilitation methods. It was a humbling experience to witness such dedication and resilience firsthand, and to collaborate with professionals who face extraordinary challenges every day.

We’re truly grateful for this chance to learn from each other and strengthen the bonds of international healthcare.

Celebrating Paul's stroke recovery and going home today!💪

Paul came to the Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin (RHOW) after suffering a stroke in late February, shortly after moving to their cabin in Wisconsin Rapids. He and his wife, Betty, chose RHOW as they wanted his recovery to be closer to family in the area and RHOW was highly recommended.

Paul's recovery journey lasted about three weeks, and he and Betty shared that the staff were "phenomenal...some of the most kind, courteous and helpful people they have met." Betty stayed many nights and stated staff went out of their way to accommodate her. "I can't say enough about our stay here," Betty commented.

Our team wishes you safe travels back to Wisconsin Rapids, Paul and Betty. All the best to your continued recovery and getting home to enjoy the birds, Paul!
