Sis —my audiology event partner- and I are set up at Taste of Lansing in the front of Lansing Works. Come grab a crunchy or quiet snack, a pen and a pack of foam hearing protection 😉 Event wristbands are $10/each and can be purchased at any booth/vendor.

It is the LAST WEEK of school, so hours are as I like to call them a little wonky this week....

The office will be closed on Friday as our kids get out of school early and we are hoping for a non-rainy afternoon/evening to do some fun activities with our kids 🤞

Next week the office will be switching to summer hours! Earlier appointment times and the office will be open in the mornings from Mon-Thursdays, as well as most afternoons. Watch for an updated hours post later this week!

Week of May 18-22 hours update. Monday hours are limited due to me volunteering at our daughter’s school for field day.
Tuesday & Wednesday I’m in the office from 9-3:30 (or later w/scheduled appts 😉).
Thursday I will be mostly out of the office as I‘m doing some Early ACCESS and school wrap ups with HAT systems through contracted Keystone AEA work.
Friday the office will be closed—it’s the last day of school and we’re hoping for good weather so we can have some fun 🤩

For some, Mother‘s Day comes with lots of emotions—some may be able to describe those emotions and others may have difficulties. We spent this Mama’s Day weekend watching one of ours do one of the things she loves most..dance 🩰. She was surrounded yesterday by those who love and support her, including her GG. What more could a mama want on Mother‘s Day weekend than that? Recital weekend has given our family another time throughout the year to come together and experience joy, laughter, love and time together 🥰

Happy Mama’s Day to all the Mamas out there and I hope today you find a way to relax and doing something you enjoy —even if that’s getting caught up on laundry 💜

Driftless Audiology is set up and ready to meet you at the VMH Family Health Fair today (Wednesday, 5/6) from 3:30-6pm. I hear there are 40+ businesses/agencies today to tell you about their services in the community.

Happy Tuesday! The office will be open today from 1:30-4:30. I have a child that has an appointment this morning, so I will be away from the office. I will be answering phone calls/emails this morning as time allows. Enjoy the sunshine and crack open a window to let the fresh air in...

Meet Tank. Tank is our 6mos old English Lab who occasionally hangs out at the office with me on some non-patient days (Wed/Fri) or small amounts of time on patient days when I do not have patients scheduled. He is learning some manners and still gets slightly excited when someone walks through the door. I am slowly giving him office exposure, with the goal being that he can hang out with me at the office full time one day a week.

While sitting in two different conferences the last 4 working days different speakers reminded and encouraged us to remember our whys, make sure we make time for the most important people in our lives and remember to live our lives with purpose. Wednesdays are a day that I book appointments by appt only—this morning I had a 9:30 then spent the rest of the day with the 3 most important people in my life. (Waukon was a no school day today due to teacher inservice.)
Yes, I am an audiologist, but I’m also a mom and a wife 💜🩵 here’s to making memories to last a lifetime…and I will be back in tomorrow from 9-4:30 😉
