Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT) is a unique therapy that combines the powerful healing properties of vibrations and sound. This technology was developed after growing research showed how external vibration and sound/music can positively impact and improve body function.

How VAT works is twofold. First, it delivers low frequency sound waves into the body. On a cellular level, these waves are converted into electrical energy, which then influences the energetic state of the body. Secondly, VAT emits sonic tactile vibrations, which are designed to positively affect your body’s naturally occurring vibrations.

VAT can help clear blockages in your body’s communication systems, increase your mental clarity, reduce stress, relieve pain, and help rebalance your nervous system.

At Ebb and Flow, we provide a fully immersive experience with Sage Space™ Technologies. Our Sage Space™ sensory lounge bed uses state-of-the-art technology to deliver therapeutic vibrations matched to specially curated playlists.

Red light therapy is a powerful, effective healing modality with a wide range of health and well-being benefits. It can help reduce inflammation, aid in wound recovery, improve skin health, improve hair growth, reduce wrinkles, and improve circulation.

At Ebb and Flow, we use PlatinumLED light therapy devices, which are crafted using advanced, science-backed, clinical-grade technology.

So how does it work?

Red Light Therapy (RLT) is a safe phototherapy technique that uses wavelengths of the visible light spectrum (red light and near-infrared) to modulate cellular functions and create positive biological effects on the body. In recent years, RLT has gained popularity due to a growing body of research that supports its success in treating various dermatologic conditions.

How often should you do red light therapy?

To get the most out of RLT, consistency is key. Sessions should be started gradually, 1-2 times per week. Once your tolerance to the light has been found, it’s safe and effective to use RLT 3-5 per week, depending on your goals.

At Ebb & Flow Massage, we’re so grateful for everything this year has brought us.

1. New modalities and expanded services.

This year has brought exciting opportunities to grow and learn! From taking Bamboo-Fusion and other educational courses, to introducing Red Light Therapy and Vibroacoustic Therapy to our downtown service menu, we’re so grateful for the privilege to continue our education and keep expanding our offerings so we can serve you even better.

2. Our beautiful new State Street location.

Our new space already feels like home! We have created a calming, nurturing sanctuary where clients can reset, and where we can collaborate with other local wellness professionals (). We’re also thankful to add new therapists to our skilled, compassionate team and for the neighboring businesses that make this location vibrant.

3. Our amazing clients and a supportive local community that values wellness.

We couldn’t do this work without you! Thank you for prioritizing your self-care, trusting us to assist you on your path to healing, and supporting us every step forward. Your referrals, glowing reviews, and loyalty mean the world. We feel honored to help you manage pain, stress, and overall wellbeing, and to witness your transformations along the way.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Wishing you a warm, restorative, and joy-filled Thanksgiving!

I’m Kailyn, Licensed Massage Therapist and graduate from The Institute of Beauty and Wellness in Madison. I believe the connection between mind and body is strong, and through massage therapy I hope to help people along their healing journey.

I enjoy giving relaxation massages, but I will always tailor each session to address the client’s wants and needs. My favorite parts of the body to massage are the neck, scalp, and shoulders. I specialize in light-medium pressure.

In my free time, you can find me with my cat. Anyone who knows me, knows Kitten. I adopted her almost 10 years ago. I also love to craft, cook, and spend time in nature.
