Love spoiling our patients 💚💚💚

Good morning!!

So I wanted to give a big shout out to spinalsolutionsmadison !

I was gifted a stretch therapy appointment by my lovely friend Susie and it was simply AMAZING!

My session was on a frequency bed that sent out frequencies to spa music to calm my nervous system and promote healing 😍

And the stretching felt wonderful!

And like all of my appointments here, you finish in the “recovery room”.

Where I have stim pads on my back muscles to help loosen up my shoulder and neck muscles , and compression pants things on my legs to help my lymphatic system 🙌🏻

All while I get to be under a warm blanket and reading for 20 minutes🥰

The icing on the cake was my friend and client Brianna was also in the recovery room to we got to catch up🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

This week…. Behind the Scenes

If you have been in our office lately you know there are a lot of moving parts, a few new friendly faces, and Dr K toting her stick plus sass around from room to room.

As we prep for our upcoming move and new program launches there are some very exciting wheels in motion:

➡️ collaboration with to deliver healthy meal prep options to our patients and community (check your email for details, we may be in your “junk” bin if you don’t see something from yesterday!)

➡️ Dr K leaves for NYC next week, don’t worry Dr Bronwyn is holding the fort down!

➡️ Events & New Class offerings coming up. All women’s health focused, sorry guys, that’s our speciality

➡️ Metabolic mentorship members are carving time out in their schedules for their complimentary DEXA scans and sending over their lab results for analysis

➡️ Dr K is analyzing said lab results starting at 3:30am everyday. Yes, hours of work and love are poured into this process. Don’t worry, she also goes to sleep by 8pm 😂

➡️ Our new full time office/brand manager starts soon! Ms Kelsey is not replacing anyone, we are simply ADDING to the team

➡️ plans for our newest “comfort & self care” feature are underway: Make your own Matcha Latte Bar

What I Really Care About (aka My Crystal Ball Moment 🔮)

I don’t want you just “aging gracefully.”
I want you raging gloriously — bone density blazing, energy on fire, brain sharp as a tack, sass levels legally questionable.

I want you to be the wildest, feistiest, most unapologetically you version of yourself in every single decade.

If you’re not considered a public nuisance in your 80s, I’ve clearly failed you. 😂💅

Because here’s what I see when I look into the future with my metaphorical crystal ball:

✨ You popping up off the toilet without needing help.
✨ You lifting grandbabies, grocery bags, or heavy opinions with ease.
✨ You walking into rooms with power and presence — not wobbling, not slowing, not shrinking.

So what’s going on behind the scenes? Oh, just a few things…

Our Metabolic Mentorship members are currently gathering diagnostics, clearing both mental and physical space for change, and getting crystal clear on their goals and intentions.

Dr. K is wrapping up two new certifications—one of which takes her to NYC for on-site testing next month.

She also just completed a Women’s Longevity Workshop and will be sharing those juicy details with you soon.

The Strong & Steady Her team (think: personal trainers, medical doctors, NPs, movement specialists) is putting the final touches on the official program launch for June 16th—this will be the first full participant round after our beta test group.

Oh, and did we mention Spinal Solutions is moving? Dr. K is deep in the transition—onboarding new team members, prepping the new space, and researching cutting-edge therapy modalities that will be added to our future location. (Stay tuned—we’re aiming for nothing short of magic.)

Also underway? EVENTS. And we’re not playing small.

We’re bringing back the beloved Book & Stretch Club (because yes—it really is that fun). PLUS we’re hosting three new in-house experiences designed to connect, move, and uplift:

Attention all of you big beautiful brains 🧠 that played along yesterday, here is your answer!

So, what should I eat first?

(Spoiler: It’s not the kiwi.) 🥝

When you start your meal with fiber-packed veggies — think leafy greens, roasted broccoli, or sautéed zucchini — you’re not just making a healthy choice. You’re hiring a bodyguard. 💪🏻

Yep. Veggies are like the fierce, fabulous bouncer at the door of your bloodstream.

They slow down how fast glucose gets absorbed, protecting you from the sugar rollercoaster that can lead to energy crashes, cravings, and stubborn fat storage.

This matters so much for women — especially in perimenopause and menopause — because estrogen and insulin are meant to work together.

But when estrogen starts to dip (as it naturally does), insulin often goes into overdrive. That’s when we see blood sugar spikes, inflammation, mood swings, and belly fat that won’t budge.

By eating veggies first, you’re calming the glucose curve and giving insulin some backup. You’re supporting your metabolism, steadying your energy, and showing your hormones a little love.💕
