Are you bonded with nature? Do you know what that means? Does it feel like you should say yes, but for some reason you feel like you are not, in fact, bonded with nature?
What do I mean by 'bonded with nature'? Regardless of whatever you've been told by the million of healthcare practitioners in this world, one simple truth holds true. We come from nature. The world we live in now is a far cry from that of our ancestors.
What does that matter? Well, we're not robots... our bodies are not simply hardware and software. What does that mean? It means we don't instantly adapt to new environments. We don't have the 'hardware' required to deal with massive Electromagnetic Fields of computer and communications technology or the 'software' to handle the processing of the tens of thousands of toxins in our environment that are new to us in the last century.
As much as we want to put the blinders on to that truth (because it is wildly inconvenient), the truth cares little of our addictions to convenience or technology.
The truth is that when we break our bond with nature, we become sick. And not all at once. Slowly (and that's why it's so sinister - if it was instantaneously terrible, we would have reversed course).
Simply put, our world is in a freefall - not only in health, but politics and economics and in basically every way.
Why? Well, would it be so bold to suggest that maybe humans are a little less sane, less grounded, less real since we've upended the mechanisms that moderate our ancestral biology?
Simply put, if you were to put a bunch of monkeys in a bright room and give them processed foods, do you think they'd thrive?
No.
Ultimately this is a David vs. Goliath post. We're David. But you know how the story ends. Because it's not about survival of the fittest anymore... it's survival of the wisest.
