As we head into Memorial Day weekend, we want everyone to have a fun, meaningful, and safe holiday!

A few simple reminders can go a long way:
• Stay hydrated, especially during outdoor activities
• Never drink and drive — plan ahead for a safe ride home
• Wear sunscreen and take breaks from the heat
• Keep an eye on children and older loved ones during gatherings
• Practice grill and fire safety
• Take a moment to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country

Experience 'Moments in Bloom' this National Skilled Nursing Care Week.

Wauneta Caren and Therapy Center is excited to celebrate our exceptional staff and inspiring residents this National Skilled Nursing Care Week beginning on Mother's Day, May 10th-16th, with the theme "Moments in Bloom." Wauneta Care and Therapy Center takes pride in caring for our residents every day.

The annual NSNCW observance recognizes the important role of skilled nursing care centers in caring for our elders and individuals with disabilities. Each person in the long term and post-acute care community contributes to improving the quality of life of all residencts by providing a home away from home that allows them to have the essential connections they need to thrive.

Come learn about our impact in the community this NSNCW TODAY, Thursday May 14th, as we host a community bbq and celebrate our residents and staff. To learn more, please contact 308-394-5738.
