As some of you may have heard, the building on the West side of our shop started on fire during the early morning hours on April 4th. The fire was contained and no one was injured, however our shop was exposed to the smoke. As soon as the electricity can safely be turned back on, the restoration company will be able to bring their equipment in to start ‘air scrubbing.’
This is a brand new experience for us. Your patience during this time will be extremely helpful. 😌
Please know that we appreciate all of you very much and we are doing our best to navigate through this.

The elves have been showing up for weeks now with boxes, buckets, and bins of cakes, cookies, and candy. Bags of booze and beer by the gallons!
We are truly greatful for the generosity and kind words we are shown day after day, year after year.

Who steals a plant?
I set our beautiful purple oxalis plant (Alice) outside the shop door to catch some of the rainy mist coming down and when I went back for her she was gone! ☹️ I’m sure I shouldn’t have been so trusting since a few years ago my bike was stolen. But a plant? So disappointing Waupaca! However I have gotten 2 parking tickets in the last week so I guess someone is sort of doing their job.
So to whoever took her please take care of her. Don’t over water, she likes a sunny spot and I hope it is worth it to you.
