I want to take a moment to address a recent situation and clarify a few things with everyone. Since I’ve come to notice she has been making posts about me that are untrue and make me sick to my stomach to read! After my recent message to my day care families about needing to limit drop-in care due to capacity regulations, I did have to turn away a drop-in child when I had already reached the legal number of children allowed in my care. I understand that this can be frustrating, and I truly wish I could accommodate every request—but I am required to follow state regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
Following that situation, a parent made several serious accusations about my care. These included claims that I was not attentive, that proper procedures were not being followed, and that their child was not cared for appropriately. I want to be very clear that these statements are not accurate.
I take great pride in providing a safe, attentive, and nurturing environment for every child. Diapering is always done on a consistent schedule, supervision is constant, and I maintain routines that support the children’s needs—including rest time in the evenings. At the time referenced, the children were settled and asleep, as it was late in the evening, and the child in question simply woke up upon pickup, which can naturally cause some brief distress.
It is deeply upsetting to have my integrity and dedication questioned, especially when I work hard every day to provide quality care for your children. My goal has always been to create a trustworthy and supportive environment for both children and families.
I appreciate all of you who continue to support and trust me. If you ever have questions or concerns, I encourage open and respectful communication so they can be addressed directly.
Thank you!
