When it comes to horses, there’s one thing I believe very strongly in. Good horsepeople never stop learning. The more that I learn, the more I realize that there is so much more left to learn. Knowledge and curiosity open the door to more information.
I’ve been doing a lot of reading and studying lately. Today, I decided to try a new technique on Dally. Partway through the session, she got so relaxed that she decided to just lay down. Talk about trust and vulnerability.❤️
Sometimes, we get caught up in what’s comfortable, easy, what we’re used to, the way that we’ve always done things… But if we don’t learn and try new things once in a while, we could miss out on breakthroughs like this.
May we never stop being students of the horse, for the good of the horse.
