Yoga With Andrea

Yoga With Andrea Follow me here to stay updated with my classes and learn about yoga! I took my very first real yoga class in Akumal, Mexico in 2015. Namaste Friends!

I went home from vacation and immediately looked for the nearest yoga studio, which led me to The Twisted Warrior. After my first class I was hooked, I've always been into fitness, running, hiking, biking etc. I also lead a weekly strollers group with local moms. My very first yoga experience was in 2010 at a resort in Punta Cana. I met a girl there who was a yoga teacher from the US and she was

there for a week and she would teach one class every morning. I was like I want to do that, Travel and Yoga, Yes Please! Fast forward seven years later and here I am! I am always up for any physical activity or adventure but heights do scare me a little. 😊
I am wife and stay at home mom of three kids. Being a stay home mom has its challenges for sure, so for me to go to an hour of yoga, is an awesome stress reliever. I started looking into teacher trainings when I knew this was something I was really passionate about and wanted to share with those around me. Then Lucy said She was was offering it at Twisted Warrior so I knew it was meant to happen. Teacher training has been an awesome adventure so far, I've learned a ton and still have a lot to learn. I completed my Yoga Up certification at DragonFly in Middleton. And graduated from 200 Hour training at The Twisted Warrior in 2017. I'm so thankful for yoga and all the joy, strength and inspiration it has given me.

My Yoga Journey

I took my very first real yoga class in Akumal, Mexico in 2015. I went home from vacation and immediately looked for the nearest yoga studio, which led me to The Twisted Warrior. After my first class I was hooked, I've always been into fitness, running, hiking, biking etc. I also led a weekly strollers group with local moms.

My very first introduction to yoga was in 2010 at a resort in Punta Cana. I met a girl there who was a yoga teacher from the US and she was there for a week and she would teach one class every morning. I was like I want to do that, Travel and Yoga, Yes Please! Fast forward seven years later and here I am! I am always up for any physical activity or adventure but heights do scare me a little. 😊 I am a wife and stay at home mom of three kids. Being a stay home mom has its challenges for sure, so for me to go to an hour of yoga, is an awesome stress reliever. I started looking into teacher trainings when I knew this was something I was really passionate about and wanted to share yoga with those around me. Then Lucy said she was was offering it at Twisted Warrior so I knew it was meant to happen. Teacher training was an awesome adventure, I've learned a ton and still have a lot to learn. I completed my Yoga Up certification at DragonFly in Middleton. And graduated from 200 Hour training at The Twisted Warrior in 2017. In my first year of teaching I met hundreds of new people and was able to share yoga with many for the first time in their life. I taught classes on the beach in Punta Cana as a celebration to finish my training year and can't wait until the next time!

Even though I started yoga for the physical benefits, soon I was seeing the mental benefits as my mind began to clear and stress was released at each class. I'm so thankful for yoga and all the joy, strength and inspiration it has given me. Namaste Friends!
