With Halloween around the corner, candy is everywhere but remember; medications aren’t candy.

Kenneth Yuk, Aspirus Pharmacy Resident, reminds families to keep medicines out of reach and teach kids that medications are only for when they’re sick. Many medicines are small, colorful, or flavored, making them easy for children to mistake as treats.

After taking a dose, put medications back in their secure spot right away. One simple habit can prevent accidental poisonings and keep your family safe this Halloween.

Megan Miles brings more than care to her patients; she brings connection, compassion, and purpose. At Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic, Megan saw that many new parents needed extra support after leaving the hospital. So, she created a postpartum support group to give them just that.

Each month, she opens a safe space where parents can share experiences, ask questions, and find comfort in knowing they’re not alone. With every meeting, Megan helps families feel seen, supported, and stronger together.
