CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a light-touch approach that releases tensions deep in the body. Everyday your body absorbs all your stresses and strains until it reaches its limit. This can lead to tight muscles as well as affecting your central nervous system and nearly every other system in your body. Using a gentle touch (about the weight of a nickel), CST has been shown to reduce pain and dysfunction, including: Migraines and Headaches, chronic neck, and back pain, stress and tension related disorders, anxiety, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, boost immune system, digestive disorders, TMJ Syndrome, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. CST addresses not just the symptoms but the root of the condition. Acupuncture is an ancient form of healing that is over 3000 years old. It is based on the principle that there are 14 major energy pathways that course through the human body called Meridians. What flows through these pathways is energy called Qi (or Chi). It is the vital force necessary for your organs to function normally. Any disturbances that leads to an imbalance of the Qi may lead to pain, dysfunction and ill health. Acupuncture works by balancing the Qi in the body.
