was back on March 8th, but I'm celebrating it today.

Let's talk about 3 women in particular.

Anna Wicklund, MSN, NP, CANS -- founder/owner of Skinnovations Medical Aesthetics and a shining example of high standards, safety, skill, vision, and top notch patient care. As her father-in-law, Chuck, lovingly and admiringly remarked to me recently: "She's an entrepreneur. We need more entrepreneurs." 💯

Hli Yang -- Licensed Medical Aesthetician at Skinnovations Medical Aesthetics and jack/jill-of-all-trades, not to mention incredible makeup artist and outdoorswoman! 🤩

Julia Meyer, PhD -- senior research scientist in Dr. Elliot Stieglitz's pediatric hematology/oncology lab at the University of California San Francisco by day and meticulously skilled yet humble subcontractor by night/weekend (also, lucky for me, my wife and the mother of our two children and one dog) ❤️

It's been my honor to get to know Anna and Hli through my collaboration with them as Medical Director of Skinnovations Medical Aesthetics.

I'm grateful to be writing this from the stunning and tranquil reception area of Anna's brand new outpost of Skinnovations, which perfectly complements her original location in . 🥂👏✨. 🥂👏✨

Julia and I got to spend Saturday helping Anna and her family/team on a good ol' fashioned to get the new space ready for this week's grand opening.

Julia even managed to impress a Ghidorzi with the DIY skills she's been quietly honing for years. She may not look nervous in the photo, but that's just good acting.

And I managed to put some furniture together (ain't too proud to assemble), transport some heavy things without dinging the walls, and not spill anything.

Here's to Anna & Hli and the entire family on pulling off their grand opening yesterday. I couldn't imagine working with a better integrative team. The future is bright to say the very least. 🥂🙏🫶

Here's to Julia for being an all-star team player despite all the balls in the air right now while still managing to push the boundaries of research and somehow keep our home and family running smoothly. 🥂🙏🫶

And here's to all the women out there who are pulling more than their weight, continuing not to get sufficient credit or compensation for it, and doing it anyway. I see you. 🥂🙏🫶
