North Shore Health was proud to sponsor an event recognizing and honoring the important work of caregivers for National Family Caregivers Month.

It's a time to salute the often-unseen work of family members, friends, and neighbors who provide care for loved ones with illnesses, disabilities, or other health conditions.

November is National Family Caregiver Appreciation Month and we celebrated with some of our great caregivers at an appreciation event at Covenant Community Presbyterian Church this week. THANK YOU CAREGIVERS for all that you do and THANKS to the many donors of our event. Check out the donors here:

Please join us in congratulating our Wound Nurse Julia for passing her Wound Treatment Associate Certification Exam. She is the big cheese, so we celebrated with cake and a charcuterie board. 🧀

Wound healing never looked so "gouda" and we are so grateful to have her on our team. Congrats again Julia!🎉

Unfortunately, our Trunk or Treat has been cancelled, but good news - we still have something fun planned for the kiddos for Halloween! 🎃

Residents will be passing out candy at our center from 9:30-11 a.m. this Thursday, Oct. 30th. We hope you can stil join us for a spooktacular time! 🍬🍭🍫

Thanks to everyone who has donated candy, but it looks like our candy monster is still hungry! He is not picky - he likes sweet treats of all kinds! Donations are being accepted until Oct. 29th. Happy halloween! 🎃👻🍬
